Taco Meat Production Process
Taco meat production involves preparing high-quality meat, which is finely ground and seasoned with a proprietary blend of spices and water. This mixture is thoroughly cooked to ensure even cooking. Following cooking and processing, taco meat can be chilled or frozen and packaged under controlled conditions for distribution to foodservice, restaurants and ready-meal applications.
Natec Network provides a continuous processing solution that optimises space, reduces processing time, and automates the production process.
1. Grinding
The beef is finely ground ensuring a consistent size for even cooking and flavor absorption as done by Grinders.
2. Blending / Mixing
The ground beef is mixed with a specific blend of seasonings, spices and water to create the taco meat's signature flavor, texture and moisture. This step can be performed using a Blending Cell.
3. Cooking
The ground beef is cooked with continuous stirring to prevent clumping and ensure thorough cooking. To make this process continuous and to eliminate batch to batch deviation the RotaTherm is the best solution.
4. Freezing
After cooking the beef is quickly frozen to preserve its flavor and freshness.
5. Packaging
The frozen, seasoned beef is then packed into temperature-controlled containers for shipping.
