No Autoclave Pet Food Sterilisation
For wet pet foods, canning and retorting is common. The mixed ingredients are sealed in cans, pouches, or trays and then cooked at specific temperatures in a heat and steam chamber (autoclave) to ensure the contents remain sterile and shelf-stable. This process requires a huge amount of time, space and energy and includes manual labor.
Natec Network offers a pet food sterilisation solution to achieve the shortest possible processing time eliminating the space and energy requirements for autoclaves.

Traditional Pet Food Sterilisation
- Batch processing with stops for sterilisation period
- 3x autoclaves sterilise 3,000kg/h
- sterilising at 130°C takes up to 90min/batch to achieve an F20 sterilisation level
- 3x autoclaves require approx. 100m²
- requires huge amount of energy
- includes manual labor
RotaTherm Pet Food Sterilisation
- Continuous non-stop sterilisation up to 156h
- 1x RotaTherm cooker sterilises from 200kg/h up to 15,000kg/h
- sterilising takes 13 secs to reach 130°C + required holding time of 3 min. to achieve an F20 sterilisation level
- 1x RotaTherm system for 3,000kg/h requires 25m² floor space
- > 45% of energy savings (no overheating)
